An Evening With The Christians

Renowned ‘80s band, The Christians have announced a new run of UK tour dates for 2024, on sale this Friday, including show’s at London’s Union Chapel and a hometown performance at Mountford Hall in Liverpool.

Made up of some of Liverpool’s finest musicians, The Christians were one of the defining bands of the late-1980s and early 1990s, with a slew of hit singles off their self-titled debut album including Forgotten Town, Hooverville, When The fingers point, Ideal World and Born Again. The record remains Island Records highest selling debut album, 36 years since its release.

The band recently embarked on a string of UK dates and will soon be joining Level 42 on a 22-date UK tour, firmly cementing their resurgence on the live circuit. Billed as “An Evening with The Christians”, these summer headline dates for the band are set to be a glorious opportunity to revisit all of the band’s greatest hits, with a catalogue spanning over 3 decades that still sounds as good live today as it did back in 1987.

Enigmatic lead singer Garry Christian said: “We’re over the moon to be getting back out on the road again, we’ve been having a great time performing together and can’t wait to bring the full headline show and all the hits out to fans across the country next summer.”

Accompanied by an incredibly tight band, fans can expect their evening with The Christians to be packed with beautiful harmonies, heartfelt songs and a memorable performance from one of the best loved bands and best selling bands of their era.
