Getting a new puppy is an exciting experience but it can also be overwhelming. This 1 hour session will help you prepare for the responsibility and commitment required to encourage good behaviour in your puppy and create a positive experience for you both in the early weeks, months and on into their adult years. Learn about breed types, how dogs learn and the importance of socialisation and habituation.
Presented by Canine Behaviourist, Andrea O'Hagan, you can glean important facts about puppyhood and how to help avoid behavioural problems in the future and there is a chance to ask any burning questions.
You will leave feeling informed and supported in this exciting new adventure. This is an information session but we welcome questions. It is also a great place to network with new dog owners embarking on the same journey (a bit like antenatal for furry babies).
