The Ashen Keys Folk at the Church Tickets

Join The Ashen Keys at the beautiful St Mary's Church in Higham as part of the Folk in the Church series. The Ashen Keys will be performing some of their most loved songs as well as brand new material.

Refreshments and a raffle will be provided.

The Ashen Keys biography

The Ashen Keys are a multi instrumental, multi voiced celebration of heartfelt storytelling. The group brings together three musicians - Hannah Ellerby (vocals, ukulele, violin and oboe), Rachel Lowrie (vocals, guitar, ukulele and clarinet), and Vicky Price (vocals, French horn, accordion) - and their sound tells of influences from folk, blues, pop, classical and even early music. Expect to be taken on a journey through dark folk tales, bittersweet love stories and reveries on nature, all with exquisite vocal harmonies and unique instrumentation. Their first couple of years as a band has included performances at Shrewsbury Folk Festival, Black Deer Festival, the Gulbenkian Theatre, and Rochester Cathedral's Ithamar Chapel.

The Ashen Keys have recently been in the studio recording their debut album which will be released in Autumn.
