THUS LOVE is a band—but also so much more. The Brattleboro, Vermont group stands together, a bond cemented by their experience as outsiders lookingin.

For THUS LOVE, DIY is an ethos that reflects not only their musical vision but their very existence as trans/queer artists. From the beginning, the band have lived together under the same roof, designed and produced their own merch, and even created their own recording studio from scratch. 

The band's sonic hallmarks will be unmistakable to anyone who has ever obsessed over classic LPs from indie and post-punk’s progenitors—everything from the chiming, Marr- esque guitars on opener “Repitioner” to the pugnacious rhythmic punch on lead single “In Tandem”. But even more impressive and exciting is how THUS LOVE manage to tap into this celebrated lineage to find their own unique voice and tell their own story. Of seeking meaning in struggle. Of embracing community and love. Of finding joy in rebirth. 

Man/Woman/Chainsaw, the London-based art punk band known for their gripping live set, return once more for the release of “What Lucy Found There” - a joyride through the sonic landscape that the six-piece have spent months crafting. 

The group present us with cinematic arrangements, mauled by moments of cacophony; a mix of dramatic, almost haunting vocals and violins sit on the front row, complimented individually by snarling guitars, flashy keyboards and drums that could knock a wall down. 

Now making their anticipated return with a live favourite, “What Lucy Found There” is the first track recorded by the group with their new lineup. Vera (vocals/bass), Ben (vocals/guitar), Billy (vocals/guitar), Emmie (vocals/piano), Lola (drums) and Clio (violin) made this record at Goldsmiths Music Studio in South London with Alexander Sokolow.
