The stage of EDPCOOLJAZZ will receive Lionel Brockman Richie Jr, one of the international legends of soul music. Member of the band Commodores, he decided to follow a solo path and release unique songs such as “All Night Long”, “Say you, say me” and “Endless Love”. The night of July 24th will be the perfect setting for Lionel Richie's legendary music.

With 37 nominations for awards such as Oscars, American Music Awards and Golden Globes, Lionel Richie has been awarded 17 times over the years for his unique albums and songs. He is currently a jury for American Idol USA and continues to step onto the stage with “Hello! Tour'". On the July 24th, Lionel Richie has a date with EDPCOOLJAZZ for an unforgettable concert, where the audience will embark on a unique journey through its repertoire.

There is a happy story of Jessica Pina with the festival. She started with her trio's performances at the Jazz Sessions in 2017 and has been a regular presence at the event ever since. Now is the time to perform on the grand stage of EDPCOOLJAZZ with his latest EP, entitled “Vento Novo”. The song “Vento Novo” was precisely the first advance made by trumpeter and vocalist Jessica Pina. This was followed by “Romeo” and recently the theme “Drama Queen”.

Tickets issued for the 17th edition of the EDPCOOLJAZZ in 2020 and 2021 are valid for the 2022 edition, and it is not necessary to exchange them. According to the update of Decree Law No. 10 - I/2020 of March 26, ticket holders are entitled to request a refund of the ticket price within 14 working days from the date scheduled for the event in 2021.
